Butterfly Mentality is more than just a brand, it's personal.

This precious project is something that I've been diligently working on for quite some time, but was waiting for the perfect opportunity to launch!

So here it is!

To me, Butterflies resemble

• strength,

• beauty,

• change

• growth

....and so much more.

 As some of you may know, I have personally experienced and struggled with different forms of anxiety and depression most of my life. 

At one point, I almost let the battle win when it came to depression. I felt isolated and like I had no place in this world anymore. Those who struggle with the same similarities often ask themselves: Why try to survive?

I was able to find my voice and reach out to my family and let them know that I was struggling to survive. I needed the help. But that wasn't easy either. At my most vulnerable moment, asking for help was such a bigger task than letting the battle win.

​

I learned to center my inner energy by drawing, journaling, painting and fell in love with it. It was the HOPE that gave me MY purpose.

I designed these sweatshirts to bring awareness to mental illnesses, mental health, and to break the stigma! 

The Semi Colon (  ;  ) in the middle of the butterfly symbolizes the movement dedicated to presenting hope and love to those who are struggling with depression, suicide, addiction, and self-injury. It says 'I'm still here!'

When you put your sweatshirt on I hope you feel as if you have a shield on and as if you are unstoppable. These sweatshirts are a reminder to prioritize your mental health and happiness!! 

Each sweatshirt is personally handcrafted individually by myself in Washington State!
